About Me
Essential Chiropractic and Chiropractic Services
Kay A Fogeltanz, DC

I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National Univserity of Health Scinces (formerly National College of Chiropractic) in Lombard, IL in the spring of 1998.  In addition to my doctorate degree, I have a BS degree in Biological Sciences from UW-Milwaukee as well as a BS degree in Human Biology from the National University of Health Sciences.

I have been practicing in the Green Bay area since 1998 having my own practice since 2003.  In addition to private practice, I enjoy providing chiropractic services to employees of local companies.  I have been providing these services since 2003 as well.

I have gained years of experience in clinical practice in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction such as lower back and neck pain. I continue to explore and learn new information as it relates to my clinical skills and practice of evidence based care by attending a number of educational seminars on a regular basis.

My goal in private practice as well as when I am on-site is to provide evidenced based chiropractic care to help my patients recover quickly.

In addition to practicing chiropractic, I am a published author in peer-reviewed literature which is not common for most practicing chiropractors.  The 2 papers can be accessed below following the links through PubMed, the National Institutes of Health's comprehensive database of scientifically valid peer-reviewed publications.

When not taking care of patients, I enjoy the outdoors and love music.  I love Wisconsin in that there are four different seasons with my favorite being summer; I also enjoy attending concerts of my favorite artists when they perform nearby or locally.

My Practice

I treat non-surgical pain and dysfunction of the spine.  Chiropractic care for other conditions remains scientifically unproven; however, chiropractic care for low back pain is well established.  Care and advice offered is consistent with valid, best practices standards.

I take special care to offer healthcare advice and treatments with known, proven benefits.  Co-managing with medical physicians is not uncommon.  I offer patients honest appraisals of their conditions and expected recoveries.  Treatments are quick and efficient, and courses of care are as short as possible. I incorporate multiple approaches and techniques tailoring treatment to each patient's needs.
